How Coinbase Live Chat Benefits Crypto Traders

Coinbase live chat for crypto is now a big gamechanger. Their advanced Web3 NFT is still there which seems to be quite advanced compared to Kraken.

Attention all traders! Have you heard the exciting news? Coinbase support has stepped up their game with the introduction of realtime chat! No more waiting around for emails or phone calls – get the help you need instantly. Read on to learn more about this game-changing update and how it can benefit you as a trader.

OMG! Has Coinbase support improved compared to horrible past experience? It seems they have improved once you know where to navigate to via their desktop option once logged into Coinbase on a browser.

Here is a real time chat conversation I had with a support from Coinbase:

are you able to see the asset balances with my coinbase wallet?

10:55 PM

I am able to see your balance.

10:55 PM

i have various balances in usdc USDT sitting on the binance smart chain. i do a transfer from there but i get a wierd message about BNB

10:56 PM

would you be aware of this ?

10:58 PM

Please allow me few minutes.

10:59 PM

i am trying to transfer to the plain ETH to transfer back to my main coinbase wallet. are you with me so far?

10:59 PM

it is similar to this

11:00 PM

11:00 PM

it is similiar to this solution? Hey, u/ComedianCommercial78! We understand your concern about the locked USDT tokens in your Coinbase Wallet. The Binance Smart Chain (BNB) is a separate blockchain that uses BNB for transaction fees. If your USDT tokens are on the BNB chain, you’ll need some BNB in your wallet to pay for transaction fees, similar to how you need ETH for transaction fees on the Ethereum network. To resolve this, you can purchase BNB from a cryptocurrency exchange that supports it, and then transfer it to your Coinbase Wallet. Once you have BNB in your wallet, you should be able to transact with your USDT tokens.

11:01 PM

Please allow me few minutes.

11:01 PM

then i have this problem

11:02 PM

hello i also have problem like this but in my case it is btc

11:05 PM

11:06 PM

got it

11:07 PM

as said, i just want to transfer everything with lowest fees back to my main coibbase account for trading (not coinbase wallet)

11:08 PM

A few things to check regarding the BNB message:

As mentioned earlier, BSC transactions require a small amount of BNB to pay gas fees. It’s possible your BNB balance is too low.

Double check that the BNB being used is also on the BSC network, not just your USDC/USDT. You need BNB-BEP20, not BNB on another network.

Try transferring out a small test amount first to see if it goes through with enough BNB. Large amounts may require higher fees.

11:11 PM

It’s been a while since your last response. Please respond to continue the conversation.

11:13 PM

what is the best way to buy BNB on the Binance Smart Chain ??

11:13 PM

e.g. which exchange or wallet would you recommend that supports that?

Here are a few good options to buy BNB on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC):

Buy BNB on Binance Exchange and withdraw to BSC wallet – Binance is one of the largest crypto exchanges and you can easily buy BNB there which you can then withdraw to your BSC-compatible wallet like Trust Wallet or MetaMask.

Use Binance Smart Chain (BSC) DEXs – Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) like PancakeSwap allow you to directly swap other cryptocurrencies for BNB-BEP20 tokens on BSC. You’ll need a small amount of BNB first for gas.

11:14 PM

Buy BNB on Coinbase and transfer to BSC wallet – Coinbase supports buying BNB which you can then send over to your BSC wallet, making sure to select BEP20 network during withdrawal.

Use centralized exchanges with BSC support – Exchanges like KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC Global allow buying BNB and withdrawing directly to BSC-compatible wallets.

Buy via payment methods on Simplex/Ramp – Websites like Simplex and Ramp enable buying BNB using fiat payment methods and credit cards which gets credited to your BSC wallet.

ou’re right, my previous suggestions about using Kraken won’t work since Kraken doesn’t directly support deposits and withdrawals on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

Trust Wallet would be a much better option in this case to buy and hold BNB on the BSC network. Here are the steps you can take using Trust Wallet:

Install the Trust Wallet app on your mobile device or use it in browser on desktop.

Create a new BSC wallet or import an existing one using your seed phrase.

Add the BNB token to your wallet so you can see your BNB balance.

can i transfer from my coinmbase account to trust wallet with send and receive? i could transfer using 0% fee blockchain. if this works, what is the best blockchain network to use?

11:20 PM

a fast one to would be wise

Yes, you can transfer your BNB or other cryptocurrencies from your Coinbase account to your Trust Wallet by using the send/receive functions.

that might be wise. are you aware if the fees are faily low for BNB?

Yes, the fees for transferring BNB on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network are generally quite low compared to other blockchains like Ethereum. Here are some key points about BNB transfer fees on BSC:

BSC transactions use BNB as the native gas currency, similar to how Ethereum uses ETH.

The base BSC transaction fee is only about 0.00055 BNB (~$0.15-0.20 currently). This covers most simple transfers.

Even during periods of high network usage, BSC fees rarely exceed 1-2 BNB per transaction. Ethereum fees can easily go above $50-100.

Transfers within the Binance ecosystem (Binance Chain to BSC, BSC to Binance DEX) have some of the lowest fees, often less than a cent.

Fees also depend on network congestion levels. Late at night or on weekends fees may be fractionally lower.
